Well this is a little late.. So I promise I’ll make this short and get straight to the Submission guidelines.

Below this post, is the anouncement for the first Monthly Map Challenge, or something with the letters MMC. lol I’ll keep bringing it up in these posts, but your best bet for the most up to date news and info along with submitted maps (and much much more!) can be found at Gamermade.net

This MMC’s (Monthly Mapper Challenge or Monthly Map Challenge) is Waterfront Chaos.

So now is the submission junk, this week is FC2 (feel’s like its been forever..) and as usual it starts at 8:00 PM Est.

first off: Make sure you have a 360.
Next: Copy and Paste the submission form below.
Also: Try to limit it to one map, if you submit two we’ll definitely play your first submitted map. The second one, if we the have time and some leftover steam.

    most of the action is going to take place in one big room, so even with as low as 8 players it might get chaotic. I think the max I got on this map was 5 players and it was fine.

    lots of place to hide in that one, I could only play it 1v1 and we had trouble finding each other, but it’s not so big actually, it’s a grid map.

    This is a map I tried to take my time on but toward the end got anxious and sped through it. But what it is is a small portion of my neighborhood I recreated then destroyed. I doubt you guys will like it but I figured I may as well submit it.

    you should stop hosting maps by unearthlywatch, I suck on them it seems XD

    it was such a slaughter on my maps, especially forgotten shrine, did I say this map was already fast paced enough on timesplitters with 7 bots? but well, it’s definitely better than only 2 people and being unable to find each other.
    should I add tdm to the map? I think objective games are a bad idea because it is too maze-ish.

    …hydro was really cool…

    There were some amazing maps tonight (ok, it was morning here). ‘Elaborate construction’ is a phrase that comes to mind, Hydro is the most awesomely beautiful dam I’ve seen, FACILITY O is mind bogglingly complex and Burning Mansion despite pushing the object count for a small area to the max was lag free and a lotta fun.

    As for a Podcast well we all want feedback on our latest creations. As for my Mad Max map, along with some APR spawn repositioning, some added cover, pathways, an elevated platform for the glider (although it’s still probably suicide), well I think I got it covered.

    actually, I experience some slights slowdowns on burning mansion, but it looks like it didn’t bother people. and that gov bastard really beat me on the razor’s edge lol

    Facility O isn’t that complex actually. when I first visited it in the editor, I thought “what a maze” but actually it has a very classic structure for a tdm/ctd map.

    mad max was the one I liked the least, it was too big for me with too little cover. it looked like the kind of maps to encourage camping, which really isn’t my style.

    Sorry I left early. Something came up and it couldn’t wait. But on my map Urban Warfare BETA the major complaint was imbalence like “one side was shooting down at the other”. I’ll replace the baseball field with something that provides decent cover, use trees to block sniping, and anything else you guys can tell me.

    i know alot of people who’ve complained…and moaned….and complained some more…..about not hacving multiple water levels. in fact i think that the moaning about it has ultimately died

    actually I’m considering doing something for the current challenge, but I have no layout yet, just a vague idea…
